After playing the update, one issue i have found is the animation when starting the game. The scene is probably reloaded at the start of the game, because of that the music and the camera animation are replayed. I would just make a fade in/out effect for the UI and enable the player input once the animation has ended, then show the motivational quote and when the player does something make the quote dissapear.
The time the quote is on screen is not enough to read it, that's why i would reccomend to make it dissapear when the player makes the first input instead, that way the player has time to read it and figure out what the game is about after reading it.
I hope this helps, you are all doing an excelent job and i'm pretty sure you all have the skill to turn this prototype into a masterpiece.
Hi Hector! Thank you for taking out time to play the game and give feedback. We really appreciate it, and do see ourselves implementing some of those changes in the near future. This is a student project, and we've been having a lot of fun working on it, thank you again for your inputs! :-)
I can't get over the ham on the paper boat in the concept art. I think the gameplay is still in Beta stage, but the ham was not glutinous and fluffy! It felt so good when I was able to swoop over the water, feeling the Asian flavor of the lanterns and lotus leaves.
I played the updated version! The graphics are more relaxed than before, and combined with the ambient sounds, it creates a chill atmosphere. I found it very relaxing to play!

It's great to see the evolution of the game.

Love the aesthetic, the game looks amazing
There seems to be no objective, i'm not sure if you have something in mind but if there was one, this could be a really fun game
The game is not very polished yet and there is no apparent feedback from hitting something or taking damage. The splash effect also needs some rework
You should also separate the MAC build from the Windows build in the itch.io page so that people using MAC know they can play the game
Overall the prototype looks very promising, keep the great work and you will make an awesome game
